ABOUT VIDAL COACHING

LIFESTYLE • EDUCATION • EMPOWERMENT • DIET • SUPPLEMENTATION

These are the five pillars that make up Vidal Coaching.

We are an all-encompassing unit utilizing functional medicine practices to instill Nutrition and Lifestyle Change to help you reach your potential. Utilizing a team of highly skilled Health Coaches, Dieticians, Medical Doctors and Personal Trainers, the possibilities are endless when it comes to being able to support our clients on their journey to take control of their lives again.

We take not only your symptoms into account but also you as an individual. We want to know what your daily life is, who you have around, where you are, and what you think about. All of this plays a factor in how you uniquely need to navigate your own health and fitness journey.

By taking all of these factors into account, we can get to the true root cause of what is affecting you. Only addressing the symptoms without addressing the root cause may work for a period of time and will eventually fail you. This is why we dig deep and address the true cause of what is holding you back from reaching your potential. Utilizing functional medicine modalities, we truly take you as an individual into account and address everything from A-Z.

When you work with us you are never alone, you will be with a Health Coach that will be able to help you navigate the waters on your journey and help you sort through the mounds of misinformation that you may come across as you dive into the world of health and fitness.

THE PILLARS OF VIDAL COACHING

LIFESTYLE

Clearly something you have been doing has not been working for you which has led you to us.

Our modern day world is unfortunately not conducive to living a life which values self-care. You need to learn the fundamental principles that will allow you to change your daily life to support your goals and reaching your potential.

We recognize that this change is not an easy one as it often includes changing life long habits but with time, trust and the guidance we can provide it is all achievable.

EDUCATION

The idea that knowledge is power dates back all the way to 1597 and this ideal holds true to this day. While working with our time we will continually educate you throughout the process giving you the power to put the control of your own health and life back into your hands.

When you have the knowledge to see the misinformation that has been fostered into society it becomes much easier to see the light on the other side and make the choices that are best for you.

EMPOWERMENT

The feeling of empowerment comes in many forms. You will not only feel empowered from the education you receive but also from setting and accomplishing goal after goal.

You will find that this feeling of empowerment not only affects your health and fitness journey but also your everyday life.

As you begin to see your body and mind go in the direction you have been aiming for possibly years the feeling of pride, confidence and success will deliver you the empowerment you didn’t even know was lacking.

DIET

We as a society have been misled on what a proper diet is and what the word diet alone is; A diet by definition is how you eat, it’s not any type of dogma, macro split, or way of cooking, it is simply how you choose to consume your nutrients.

However, our perception of a proper diet to support our goals has been completely broken down and skewed to match a certain criteria or corporate gain that does not take you as an individual into consideration.

With the guidance from our team to feel empowered to trust your education and change your Lifestyle to reach your potential you will naturally adopt a diet that is appropriate for you and you alone.

SUPPLEMENTATION

There are times that diet and lifestyle alone can’t quite complete the journey ahead of us, this is when we pull in additional aids in the form of natural supplementation that has been highly tested and regulated with a background that is self-proving. Everyone needs a little help every now and then which is when supplements come into play.

Our entire team is here to support you through thick and thin. We all know personally what it is like to be in a position that is not what you desire for yourself and how hard the struggle can be to regain control.

However, with the help of everyone connected to Vidal Coaching there is hope and a promise that you can Reach Your Potential Through Nutrition & Lifestyle Change.

Bio:

My story started like the majority of our clients. As a former ballerina, theatre company dancer and backup dancer, fitness was always a huge part of my life. In my mid/late 20’s, I had become unhealthy and complacent in my lifestyle choices. After stalling out in my journey, I met Vince and the rest is history! I went on to compete in 4 NPC Bodybuilding competitions, study under the original Metabolic Mentor program directly with Vince Pitstick, and help nurture Nutrition Dynamic to the company you see today. It is extremely fulfilling to guide people daily into a program that will truly change their lives. Being able to give support, knowledge and success to people struggling to find answers in an industry that I’ve always loved, gives me joy.

  • Dietetic Program in Dietetics from Simmons College
  • MS in Clinical Nutrition from Tufts University
  • MS in Nutrition Interventions, Communications, and Behavior Change from Tufts University
  • RD
  • ACE CPT

Specialization(s): Genetics (DNA), gut health, hormones, autoimmune conditions, Hashimoto’s, thyroid, skin and acne

Bio: Cassandra Becker, MS, RDN, LDN, cPT is a Registered Dietitian, Personal Trainer and Nutrition Communication Specialist located in Charlotte, NC. Her specialties include both individual and corporate wellness. She has experience counseling clients one-on-one in hospitals, gyms, workplace, and now virtual settings and has also led multiple weight management and healthy eating programs. Cassandra’s interest in integrative and functional nutrition started when she developed food allergies from a trip to Haiti. She received care from a functional practitioner who was able to find parasites using comprehensive stool tests and treat them using a combination of therapeutic diet, supplements, botanicals, and lifestyle changes. She discovered the importance of good gut health and that treating the underlying root cause of disease is more effective than only treating the symptoms. She also experienced first-hand the power of lifestyle interventions focusing on stress management, optimizing nutrition, good sleep hygiene, and physical activity. Cassandra grew up in Andover, Massachusetts and now reside in Denver Colorado. She enjoys  Barre classes and skiing, practicing harp and opera, cooking up tasty and nutritious concoctions in the kitchen (including presentation – e.g. cutting rosebuds out of strawberries), and meeting with friends over a steamy cup of tea or thrift store adventure. As a side note, she loves to travel and have visited eight countries, which has given her a new perspective on health and nutrition

My Ideal Client: Due to my expertise and client volume load, I am unable to take clients that require a lot of hand holding outside of sessions. I work best with clients that are highly motivated, able to follow directions, eager to learn and ready to make lifestyle changes to achieve their goals. My style is to teach while we work – my motto is: if you understand it, you are more likely to do it. I provide tough love and not afraid to call clients out on their BS but also have a gentile and kind demeanor.

Fueled by her own health struggles and a deep passion for nutrition education, she has held positions in clinical, community, research, and private practice settings, all centered around teaching people how to live healthy and fulfilling lifestyles by getting to the root causes of their health issues.

Her nutrition communication experience includes working at Balance Your Life, a healthy lifestyle campaign on the Tufts University undergraduate campus aimed to promote healthy lifestyle behaviors. She has also been featured in Tufts Nutrition Magazine, Tufts Nutrition Letter, Self Magazine, and Reader’s Digest, as well as having several scientific publications.

Cassandra holds a Bachelor of Science in Applied Health Science from Wheaton College (IL) and a Certificate in Nutrition and Dietetics from Simmons College. She completed her dietetics training at Tufts Medical Center and has a Master of Science in Nutrition Communication from the Tufts Friedman School of Nutrition Science & Policy.

Personally, Cassandra loves nothing more than cooking great dinners and exploring new foods. She is originally from Boston, MA, but now resides in Colorado. She enjoys Zumba and turbo kick, relaxing poolside, cooking up tasty and nutritious concoctions in the kitchen (including presentation – e.g. cutting rosebuds out of strawberries), and meeting with friends over a steamy cup of tea or thrift store adventure. As a side note, she loves to travel and has visited nine countries, which has given her a new perspective on health and nutrition.

CAROLINE O’CONNOR

HEALTH COACH

Click For Bio

Caroline is a Registered Dietitian and Personal Trainer actively blending her passion for nutrition with her love of bodybuilding.

Depressed, anxious and not comfortable in her own skin, she dove into the world of fitness head on, finding confidence and empowerment through weight lifting. However, Caroline quickly realized true achievement of a “healthy lifestyle” wasn’t found only in the gym.

In true Caroline fashion, she threw herself back into the world of nutrition, looking for answers beyond a pill to address her depression and anxiety. That was the start of Caroline’s belief that food is not only medicine, but also fuel. Fuel for an active, healthy lifestyle.

She finished up her Bachelor of Science in Exercise Science & Dietetics from Miami University (OH), completed her dietetic internship with a sports nutrition concentration and then moved on to St. Petersburg, FL where she currently resides doing what she loves: health coaching.

Caroline helps her clients ditch the diets, become strong and confident, and develop habits to support a healthy, sustainable lifestyle. One of her favorite quotes is “You don’t have to be great to start, but you have to START to be great.” She motivates and supports her clients to just START, because she realizes how scary, yet rewarding, that first step can be.

In her free time you can find her cooking up a storm, working out, and adventuring with her dog, Jayda.

Specialization(s): Gut, Thyroid & Hormones

Bio: I struggled with thyroid and gut dysfunction for years - to the point where I couldn't eat anything without getting extremely sick, didn't want to leave the house, and I gained about  30lbs despite eating healthy and working out really hard in the gym. Every provider I went to told me there was nothing else they could do to help me and to pretty much figure it out. After being a client of ND, I am 95% symptom-free and I FINALLY have my quality of life back! As a practitioner myself, I know way too many women who also struggle with thyroid and gut dysfunction, leading unwanted weight gain, and they just don't feel good about themselves. I am on a mission to help others who are in the shoes I was once in to get their quality of life back and FEEL good in their own skin again.

My Ideal Client: The individual who is READY to change their lifestyle and put in the work. Who has been dismissed by other providers, knows there’s a better way to get their health back, but needs guidance in order to get there. The client who isn’t afraid of me giving some tough love when it’s needed to get them where they want to be!

Specialization(s): Competition prep

Bio: An IFBB Pro and mom of two sets of twins, Laura started coaching in 2007. At the time, she had just begun her career as a fitness model and fitness competitor when friends and coworkers started asking her for weight loss and nutrition advice. In a desire to give educated guidance, she took her first nutrition course. Over the years, her coaching progressed from weight loss and performance based macros and training to also include functional nutrition and supplementation. This was a result of developing her own hormone and digestion issues from overtraining and over-dieting for competitions and as she saw a need for it with her clients’ struggles as well.

My Ideal Client: She specializes in helping bikini athletes optimize their competition prep in order to look their best on stage and then transition into post show with long term health in mind. Programming includes training, supplements and nutrition as well as posing, suit selection, and hair and makeup recommendations as stage presentation is a major aspect of the bikini division. She also specializes in helping frustrated moms (she is a mom of 4!) who can’t seem to lose weight no matter what they try to get to the root cause of what's preventing progress. She helps them reach their physical goals to feel more confident in their body and ultimately live a more fulfilled momlife.

Specialization(s):  Gut & Hormones, Acne/ Skin Issues, Anxiety/ Depression, Body Composition Change, Metabolism, and Weight Issues, Liver Disorders, Thyroid Problems,

Bio: I am a registered dietitian and nutrition professional with over 6 years of experience in the field and I am dedicated to improving clients' health. Client has a past history of bikini competing. I remember being that girl in her early twenties who hated her body, the girl who tried diets to fit in, who felt uncomfortable in her clothes, and had no confidence. But I also remember the girl who cried in the car after continuing to have gut/ hormone issues and seeing multiple doctors. I also remember having anxiety, where doctors would continuously just check my thyroid and say it was fine (would love to see those labs now). I want women to know how it feels to be in control of their bodies. To be that source of hope for those who have been told by their doctor there is nothing they can do. But even more so, I want to be a good example for my family, friends, clients, etc. I want my clients and my kids eventually to never keep saying the phrase, “I'll start Monday”. I want clients to be strong both physically and mentally and in order to do that, I have to set a good example. And what better way to do that then to be a service helping others. I got into this career not because I was smart but wanted to believe in a more natural approach, but also because I was sick.  I am so glad I went through my own healing journey to discover functional medicine. I was forever changed as a patient and want to do the same for my clients.

My Ideal Client:

This is for clients who are more intermediate and have an understanding of nutrition and tracking- looking to be more structured and knowledgeable. Anyone from 20-45 years old, who is a professional, has been trying to fix their gut and hormones for months or years previously. I work well with Type A personalities, people who are direct, open, and honest. I want a client who has great energy, is excited to talk with me, trying to find answers to her questions first before coming to me, works hard, and loves to have a good conversation. My ideal client shows motivation greater than the average person, and usually comes from a fitness/ health background. Bonus if they know how to track macros previously and have worked with other coaches.

My Ideal Client: I love working with burnt out, stressed women and moms. I have a passion for helping them get back on track, and reminding them what they’re capable of when they’re fully nourished. I work best with clients who are coachable, don’t play the victim. I love working with lifestyle clients who are willing and open to truly change EVERYTHING they’re doing so that they can create lasting change. This looks like focusing on the bigger pieces of the puzzle of their lives that have contributed to the symptoms that have manifested in their physical body.
